Great week at the coast

What a wonderful week at the coast. Kei Mouth simply one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa. Great time with family!

I am rather pleased with the progress made on bugweed. So far, I can say that three properties are bugweed-free, and a fourth has allowed me to identify just how much bugweed is on the property - and it's over 60 plants, many of them very mature. The property owner was sure she had cleared it all! Not a chance. A long way to go, but I am sure we can clear Linbro park of all bugweed.

Off to broadcast

A rough week, with the most unseemly accusations from strange people. Well, off to Midrand FM with Toto, Glenn Hughes, Van Halen, ZZ Top, BOC (as usual), and some truly unexpected Nirvana. Hope the unseemly riffraff behave.

An interesting life - a curse?

The Chinese say may you live an interesting life, and make it something of a curse, or so I understand. Well, I do live just that:

1 Linbro Park has again erupted into factional fighting. Such a glorious place, such a divisive bunch of people living here. And, as always, one person is behind the divisiveness.
2 On the brink of landing my biggest client ever.
3 Elder son's birthday tomorrow, cooking up a storm.
4 Long weekend, with all that entails.

Life is good, may I live up to it!

Back in the saddle

Well, I've been away for a while. This has been a very busy period, but I'd best post every single day from now on. Life is good, Matthew and Karen are exceptionally healthy, and James is back and living with me. I am back in broadcasting, doing potent rock every Monday night (although that *can* change) on Midrand FM 93.8. I will post my playlist every Monday, and invite comments.
