The only thing to note about carbon trading is that it is a hoax perpetrated on people around the world to increase tax revenues. South Africa alone is seeking to increase the fiscus by 12% through carbon penalties. And it will make absolutely no difference to climate change. But, boy, what a new, insidious, self-righteous way to make money out of passive taxpayers.
