A substation burnt down in Centurion a day or so ago. This meant the ground was plunged into darkness for some time in last night's semifinal. My wife and I switched back on to watch the most thrilling run chase imaginable. Never in the history of 20/20 cricket have so many sixes been hit, including Justin Kemp's second in a row in a match to finish the Titans: 25. Surreal game, with average scoring rate of more than 11 runs an over. Owais Shah was sublime, Albie Morkel brutal. And amidst the carnage, Charl Langeveldt bowled a maiden. Good crowd, fantastic atmosphere, late finish. World-class entertainment.
