Two new lows in PR: Monique Verduyn writes on Facebook: "I am asked to send a list of questions for the company I want to to get input from, the questions are answered and returned, I ask for the title of the spokesperson and am told I cannot under any circumstances accredit the statements to the company. WTF???"
And birthday boy Duncan McLeod gets a JPG as a press release! Content execrable, but never mind! A JPG as a press release!

What fascinates me is that to be given answers and told you cannot attribute them is not unique. It never ceases to amaze me the level of ineptitude that permeates even some of the most well-respected South African brands.
The press release as an image file is the first I hear of that. That must be some purple prose that they refuse to alow you to mess with it. And from a PR business - surely they won't be around much longer if they are that out of touch with their target market.
