Two children have been wounded in an apparent hijacking attempt outside a primary school in Parktown in Johannesburg.
It is believed one of the pupils from the Roseneath Primary School has been taken to hospital with a chest injury.
A woman who works at the school told Eyewitness News it was terrifying.
“I ran out of the office so quick so I don’t know what happened, but then we realised two of the children were shot at the school, two little Grade Ones,” she said.
