Update: Lowest temperature reported last night was -8, according to 702. Some folks' pipes froze.
Last night's frost was the most intense we have known in more than five years here.
We have next to no frost as the Bowers effectively created a forest, which offsets the frost. Last night the mercury dipped to -5, precipitating a black frost in parts of Linbro Park.
