Eskom digs up the fault

The local construction company damaged the cable and exposed it and it was stolen and spliced time and again. Sunday's terrible storm seeped water down 2m, and see what happened. Johannes from Eskom and his colleagues are still out there and say they might (might!) have the power back on tonight.

For the rest, we are back in the Stone Age. Eish!
