What John O'Connor's cable theft looks like

I popped around to Clulee to have a look on the way back from a meeting. Some 300m of cable was pinched. You can see some of the remnants and replacement cable hanging around. Cost to Eskom R20 000, more or less, and three armed guards stationed. Scrap metal value: R100 or so - petty cash for the thieves, as the Eskom technician put it. Enough to drive one totally crazy.
